ABOUT US
Cheam Tennis Club is a section of Cheam Sports Club and has been playing tennis since 1926. Whilst our members, facilities and rackets (!) have changed in that time, our love of tennis has not.
At Cheam Tennis Club, tennis is played all year round by players of any age, standard or background. We offer regular social tennis sessions, professional coaching, quality flood-lit courts, a programme of social events, and entry into tournaments and league teams for competitive players. We are an affiliated member of the Lawn Tennis Association boasting a prestigious Tennis Clubmark standard from Sport England.
We pride ourselves on being a community club that is supportive of all tennis abilities and standards. You can read our club policies HERE.
This year we are 100 years old as a tennis club and as part of that celebration a timeline of those 100 years has been put together and documented. COMMITTEE MEMBERS
The club is run by a voluntary committee elected by its members who manage day-to-day operations. The committee is always happy to hear from members concerning questions, comments or suggestions. So don’t hesitate to get in touch!
